Privacy Policy
Overview
Nudge is built to be simple and private. The app does not require an account, does not include third-party analytics, and stores your nudges and settings on your device.
What Nudge stores
Nudge stores the following data locally on your device:
- The nudges you add
- Energy level tags
- Theme selection and app preferences
- Widget and Live Activity state
- Notification preferences
This information is stored using Apple's on-device frameworks such as SwiftData and UserDefaults.
Notifications, widgets, and Live Activities
If you allow notifications, Nudge may schedule reminders and active-session check-ins on your device. Home Screen widgets, Lock Screen widgets, and Live Activities use app data stored locally in an App Group shared container.
Purchases
Nudge offers an optional in-app purchase for premium themes. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive your payment card information.
Analytics and tracking
Nudge uses privacy-focused product analytics through TelemetryDeck to understand basic app usage, such as app opens, wheel spins, completed nudges, and purchase flow events.
- No advertising identifiers
- No cross-app tracking
- No analytics used for advertising
- No user accounts required
Analytics are used only to improve the app experience and understand which features are actually being used.
Data sharing
Nudge does not sell your data and does not share personal data with third parties for advertising. Limited analytics event data may be processed by TelemetryDeck for app analytics only.
Children's Privacy
Nudge does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is designed to work without account creation or user-submitted personal profiles.
